Dr. Kamran Bagheri Lankarani
Kamran Bagheri Lankarani (born 1965 in Tehran) is an Iranian physician and politician. He is a member of the Persistence Front, a founding member and a board of trustees of the Iranian Educators Foundation, and served as the Minister of Health and Medical Education in the ninth government.
He received his diploma from Tohid Boarding High School in Shiraz and his professional doctorate in medicine from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1989. He then received a specialization degree in internal diseases from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1992 and a specialization degree in gastrointestinal and liver diseases from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1997. He is currently a member of the board of trustees of the Iranian Educators Foundation and the head of the Health Research Center at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.

Seyyed Moyed Alavian
Dr. Seyed Moayed Alavian, a prominent physician and researcher in the field of liver diseases, with more than 30 years of experience, is a national and international figure in this field. He has played an important role in the development of diagnostic, treatment, and education services for liver diseases in Iran and the region. He is the founder of the first hepatitis clinic in the country (1936) and the founder of the Tehran International Hepatitis Conferences, and has been responsible for the treatment of more than 18,000 patients with hepatitis C.
He is also the editor of prestigious scientific journals including Hepatitis Monthly and Journal of Clinical Virology, and is a long-standing member of the National Hepatitis Committee of the Ministry of Health. His scientific interests include health policy, epidemiology of viral hepatitis, treatment of special patients (such as thalassemia and hemophilia), and evaluation of new drugs in clinical trials.
Dr. Alavian has published more than 850 scientific articles, of which more than 600 are indexed in ISI and Medline, and has 50,000 citations. His H-Index is 75. Other honors include being named the best scientist of the decade in the field of hepatitis in 2015 by the Academy of Sciences, and receiving the Fereydoun Azizi Award.
He is the author and co-author of 75 books for physicians, patients, and the general public. Dr. Alavian is interested in public health education and has published collections such as Healthy Society, Healthy Liver, and The Family Doctor Talks to You.
